Chalé Foundation is a nonprofit Organization dedicated to providing primary healthcare services for disabled and less privileged children in our community, through medical outreaches, and support services. Chalé Foundation has been committed to this goal since 2015. In the past 3 years we have provided free and continuous medical screening to children of Dzorwulu Special School, the Teshie Orphanage, all in Accra and the Aboom Special School in Cape Coast. For Chalé foundation to keep up with the health needs of these children, we enroll and pay for National Health Insurance for the children. We have also collaborated with Play and Learn Foundation to organize a health walk in support of disadvantage children dubbed “Walk For Love”.
Chale foundation is funded internally and has full-time staff.
Our mission is to make healthcare accessible to orphans , disabled and other vulnerable populations. This will be done by health screenings, support services, advocacy and forming a strong network of volunteer medics and professionals, similar to Doctors without borders to cater to the needs of the above-mentioned populations.
Our Vision is a country where there is equity for orphans, disabled and other vulnerable populations whilst providing sustainable ways of improving health and other socioeconomic outcomes
